Role Purpose: The Retail Operations Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication strategies that align with daily and weekly operational goals. This position is essential in ensuring that store initiatives, policies, and merchandising strategies are executed to enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with retail leadership to organize and manage operational workflows and planning schedules.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to prioritize key projects and responsibilities for optimal execution.
  • Contribute to the development of weekly communication updates regarding store initiatives and actions.
  • Design and implement recognition programs and contests that support retail objectives and foster a positive selling culture.
  • Assist in the creation of seasonal marketing materials and manage print production tasks.
  • Compile and share productivity reports on a regular basis to track store performance.
  • Oversee the in-store experience for loyalty programs, including training materials and marketing placements.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on operational best practices and execution.
  • Maintain and revise store policy and procedure documentation as necessary.
  • Manage feedback from the field, ensuring effective communication between the field team and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with a focus on time management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create engaging content.
