Position Overview

The Retail Operations Manager (ROM) plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence within the retail space, assisting with on-site operational and marketing oversight of the shopping center. This position is integral to enhancing the overall asset value, working closely with the General Manager (GM) and various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute strategies to achieve sales and foot traffic objectives.
  • Champion the customer journey and enhance retailer experience initiatives.
  • Proactively engage in business development opportunities to generate additional management income.
  • Support the delivery of daily operational excellence in line with established metrics and standards.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management, Security, and Risk Management teams.
  • Ensure optimal performance and compliance with health, safety, labor, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee corporate shopping center policies and procedures related to front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Assist in managing Common Area Maintenance and Capital expense budgets/forecasts within approved limits.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with:

  • 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in retail, shopping center, property, or hospitality management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database and technological tools to support business operations.

Compensation

This is an exempt position with a salary range of $85,000 to $125,000, plus a discretionary annual bonus.
