Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Station Manager in overseeing daily operations of the retail site.
  • Supervise station activities and personnel in the absence of the Station Manager.
  • Guide, motivate, and coach team members during shifts to ensure tasks are completed according to CSI's standards.
  • Comply with established safety, security, and quality protocols, along with all CSI policies and procedures. Respond to incidents promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Station Manager or Business Consultant as necessary.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to company wage and hour regulations.
  • Assist in the management of cash handling and accountability processes.
  • Promote a safe working environment for oneself, colleagues, and customers by following the CSI Loss Prevention procedures and modeling safe practices.
  • Maintain professional interactions with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
  • Exhibit reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Perform Customer Service Representative (CSR) duties as required.
Core Duties Include:

Store Operations

  • Direct staff during shifts to ensure comprehensive coverage of station operations, including customer service, stocking, cleaning, and food service.
  • Assist with inventory management, coordinating with other stations to minimize stock shortages.
  • Follow CSI guidelines to maintain appropriate product volumes and conduct mini-audits as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling and Loss Prevention processes, effectively using transactional equipment to process customer transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of food service equipment, providing support to CSRs as necessary.
  • Report any operational issues to the Station Manager that may impact customer service, safety, or profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards among staff and contractors during shifts.
  • Utilize various computer systems to manage daily store operations and complete administrative tasks related to sales, compliance, and deliveries.
  • Keep the Business Consultant informed of station operations and issues in the absence of the Station Manager.
  • Perform CSR duties and other tasks as assigned by the Station Manager or Business Consultant.

People Management

  • Ensure all station employees understand and comply with company wage and hour guidelines.
  • Model and support CSI's core values of safety, diversity, inclusion, integrity, and trust.
Job Requirements:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment, including cash handling and customer service.
  • Proficient in operating cash registers, computer systems, and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for food storage and service.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 21 years of age.
Travel Requirements:
  • Limited to necessary training or coverage for nearby stations.
Physical Demands:
  • Continuous walking and standing, occasionally on uneven surfaces, reaching, grasping, and operating equipment.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs continuously and up to 35 lbs occasionally, following team-lift protocols for heavier items.
  • Work safely with equipment that operates at high temperatures while using appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions and cleaning chemicals.
  • Occasional exposure to walk-in coolers.

Applicants must meet age requirements as specified for different locations. Compensation and benefits are determined based on skills and experience. This position is based in the USA, and visa sponsorship is not available.
