Job Responsibilities:
As a Territory Manager, your primary responsibility will be to optimize rental equipment sales within your designated area. This includes:
- Actively seeking rental revenue and sales leads from both existing and prospective clients.
- Conducting site visits to uncover new business opportunities and gathering essential customer information for follow-up.
- Documenting customer interactions and entering data into our systems for tracking and analysis.
- Collaborating with account managers and rental managers to share qualified leads.
- Keeping an updated list of customer contacts and rental agreements for effective follow-up.
- Staying informed about our product offerings and competitive rental rates to enhance sales strategies.
- Planning customer outreach to maximize efficiency and meet rental fleet utilization goals.
- Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Additional Duties:
- Utilizing reports to identify potential clients in the bidding phase.
- Gathering competitive insights on pricing and market saturation.
- Maintaining awareness of customer accounts throughout all stages of engagement.
- Proactively resolving customer issues to maintain satisfaction.
- Meeting established targets for customer outreach.
- Supporting sales initiatives as needed and promoting corporate values.

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the CAT product line.
- Ability to understand equipment specifications and pricing.
- Proficiency in performing sales calculations accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and influence rental transactions.
- Consistent attendance and commitment to responsibilities.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in rental sales.
- Proficient in English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role require the ability to perform essential functions, including:
- Regularly sitting, using hands, and communicating.
- Frequently standing, walking, reaching, and climbing.
- Occasionally lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities for close work.

Work Environment:
This position may involve exposure to various environmental conditions, including:
- Moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Moderate noise levels typical of an office setting.
