Position Summary

The successful candidate will take personal responsibility for a range of projects, which include effective scheduling and budgeting. This role involves working on significant, ongoing service accounts while adhering to established procedures and techniques. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of reports, cost estimates, coordinating engineering plans, and reviewing completed specifications. It is essential to keep the project team informed of any deficiencies or potential issues that may arise.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Maintain secure and productive relationships with key clients, consultants, and teams.
  • Bring a positive and professional demeanor to all work environments, representing K2M Design with pride.
  • Ensure confidentiality by refraining from sharing project details on social media.
  • Coordinate project tasks with the Team Leader and Project Manager, or the Director in their absence.
  • Review and understand condition assessment practices thoroughly.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and follow up on decisions that impact work efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader to provide technical guidance and resolve issues.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution.
  • Perform minimal drafting tasks as required to meet client expectations.

Qualifications
  • Experience in electrical construction, project management, and troubleshooting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Electrical license preferred, with the ability to identify NEC code issues.
  • Proficient in using computer applications, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to recognize various architectural elements and MEP systems beyond the electrical trade.
  • Must possess a clean driver's license, free from DUIs or serious infractions.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders and lift items up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel as required for site surveys, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
  • Travel Commitment: Expectation of 60-80% of work time dedicated to travel, either independently or as part of a team.
