  • Act as a primary responder for building-related issues outside of regular business hours, including weekends and early mornings, addressing climate control, odors, spills, damages, security concerns, emergencies, and repairs.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in liaising with third-party vendors to ensure all maintenance and construction projects are completed on schedule and meet job specifications.
  • Oversee security-related maintenance tasks such as annual fire system tests and fire drills.
  • Order and distribute materials necessary for light facility maintenance.
  • Investigate and resolve facility-related challenges.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Manage the facilities database, ensuring accurate documentation of facility records, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with facility-related components of the Business Continuity Plan.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This position may be suitable for you if you meet the following criteria:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance across multiple properties, demonstrating strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using standard powered and non-powered tools.
  • Preferred: 1-year certificate from a college or technical school in a facility-related field (e.g., NATE/HVAC Certificate).
  • Preferred: Experience overseeing facility-related third-party vendors.
  • Ability to read and interpret facility operation-related documents (e.g., blueprints).
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills related to facilities.
  • Occasional ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional nights and weekends as necessary.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, credit check, and drug test.
  • Possess a clean, valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to various locations.

We recognize that satisfied team members are essential to a successful business and are pleased to offer:

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary (disclosed to candidates meeting minimum qualifications).
  • Health, dental, vision, disability, life, and pet insurance options with substantial company sponsorship, including free 24/7 mental and behavioral telehealth coverage.
  • Two weeks of paid time off (increasing to 3, 4, and 5 weeks with additional years of service).
