Your Role:

  • Conduct maintenance on cinema projection systems, digital signage, audio equipment, servers, and power supplies.
  • Deliver on-demand service to clients; assess and implement effective support strategies.
  • Test electronic assemblies and components using various diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Inspect equipment for defects, replace faulty components, and perform field testing to resolve firmware and software challenges.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints regarding product quality, specifications, and delivery conditions.
  • Document, analyze, and communicate production quality metrics and customer complaint statuses to relevant departments through written and electronic reports.
  • Install and test electronic or digital equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities in Field Point, including work descriptions, expenses, hours, labor, and travel.
  • This role requires extensive travel, up to 70-80% of the time, and may involve working weekends, holidays, and being on-call.
  • Provide remote and phone support to customers when feasible.
  • Take ownership of tasks and be open to additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in electronics related to the professional audio-visual market.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts and architecture.
  • Preferred experience with digital cinema equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • A valid, state-issued driver's license is required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, and bend for extended periods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of thriving in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated individual who can identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of personnel within the organization.
