Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Installation Specialist to join our team at Welte Electronic Systems LLC. As an Installer - A/V, Control, Security, Fire Alarm Technology, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various security and audio/video systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install low-voltage cabling according to national electric code and industry standards.
  • Install, program, and test new alarm and security/fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and audio/video equipment.
  • Complete thorough documentation of installed systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with installed systems.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance and testing of systems.
  • Monitor inventory of service parts and maintain a well-stocked van.
  • Provide training to customers on the use of their new systems.
  • Ensure the van is kept neat, orderly, and stocked with necessary equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in security/fire alarm, access, CCTV, installation, maintenance, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in installing EMT and other low-voltage cabling.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting 50 lbs and working in challenging environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with wireless technology and cable pulling.
  • Clean driving record and valid CTe C5/6 or L5 License.
