As the leading dropout prevention organization in the nation, CIS has been dedicated to supporting students for over 40 years, currently serving in 26 states. Our goal is to provide resources and services that help students overcome barriers to their success.

In Nevada, CIS functions as a unified non-profit organization with three affiliates, reaching 67,000 students across 63 locations. Since our inception in 1992, we have grown to employ over 100 staff members and manage an annual budget nearing $5 million. Our mission is to create a supportive community around students, empowering them to remain in school and succeed in life.
