Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager at White Cap, you will have the opportunity to build relationships and develop plans to increase sales and profitability for mid-size accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with mid-size accounts, understanding their needs and providing solutions to drive sales and profitability.
  • Develop and Execute Business Plans: Create and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts, including market and account research, sales events, networking, and vendor events.
  • Meet Sales Objectives: Accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin, and controllable expense objectives.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service-related issues.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and apply that knowledge when servicing customers.
  • Reporting and Administration: Maintain and submit all required sales administration reports and regularly attend company meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Outside Sales to professional contractors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in sales and business development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Company products and services.
