Job Description

**About the Role**

K2 Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. As an IT Sales and Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for discovering and qualifying business opportunities to sell product and service-based IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to sell IT solutions to clients.
  • Account Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to build trust and drive sales.
  • Value Proposition Development: Leverage industry trends and develop compelling value propositions to address clients' needs, wants, and desires.
  • Client Management: Manage day-to-day client needs, report progress to the VP of Sales, and identify new business opportunities across the client's full range of operations.
  • Staying Current: Remain current on the latest technology initiatives and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience selling IT hardware products and services.
  • Established client base in the Bay Area and surrounding regions is a major plus.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, data center solutions, hybrid cloud, managed print, Voice over IP, and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
  • Team player attitude with the ability to inspire confidence amongst executive leadership, colleagues, and client partners.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and consultative solutions-selling skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and knowledge with the ability to translate complexities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Unlimited earning potential with no cap on commission.
