- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' financial needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Work closely with our credit team to structure and underwrite credit transactions that meet our clients' needs and align with our credit quality standards.
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of relationships to ensure ongoing credit quality, credit renewal, and adherence to policy.
- Collaborate with other departments and colleagues to provide clients and prospects with comprehensive solutions.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, appraisal, credit policies, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to ensure our clients receive the best possible service.
- Prepare and present reports to management to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial real estate lending experience, with a minimum of 5 years of financial and income tax analysis experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, appraisal, credit policies, and procedures.
- Excellent client servicing and sales skills, with the ability to work autonomously and make sound business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
At City National Bank, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting base salary of $122,535 - $208,715 per year, with the potential for bonus and/or commissions. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
