Job Summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within our defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and engage with small to medium-sized business customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Utilize digital tools and platforms to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including customer support and category specialists, to progress deals forward and ensure successful account management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, including appointment setting, effective communication, and negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
