This role is primarily focused on business development and acquiring new clients. Responsibilities include establishing new dealer partnerships and screen enclosure businesses, managing a customer relationship management (CRM) system, and ensuring a robust sales conversion rate. The successful candidate will cultivate and oversee a designated territory, engage in cold outreach, and nurture existing leads. Collaboration with the internal sales team and company leadership, along with staying informed on market dynamics and demand fluctuations, is crucial. This role requires 5-10+ years of B2B sales experience and the willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish new dealer partnerships, building supply companies, and screen enclosure businesses.
- Oversee a CRM system to monitor leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Maintain a strong conversion rate throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop and manage a designated territory, fostering robust partnerships.
- Engage in cold outreach and sustain warm leads.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team and leadership to formulate and execute sales strategies.
- Stay informed about market trends and demand shifts.
- Close new business transactions and secure ongoing orders.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the building materials sector or a related field.
- Established relationships within the target markets are advantageous.
- Demonstrated history of surpassing sales objectives.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time, as required within the assigned territory.
- Self-sufficient and motivated.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary with unlimited earning potential, transitioning to a commission-based structure over time.
- Commission payouts over a three-year period.
- Per diem for travel-related expenses with prior approval.
- Company-provided mobile phone.
- Standard working hours are 8 am - 5 pm ET, with flexibility for client outreach in various time zones.
