Position Title: Comcast Sales Representative

Job Overview:

The Comcast Sales Representative is accountable for the marketing and sale of Comcast's diverse range of products and services, including video, high-speed internet, voice, and XFINITY Home. The primary objective is to enhance connection volumes within designated areas by re-engaging previous customers. This role requires the development of a solid understanding of Comcast's offerings, honing sales techniques, and optimizing sales performance through effective territory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of Comcast's product suite, actively promoting and selling services to individual clients through door-to-door engagement within the assigned area.
  2. Build rapport and communicate effectively with customers, assessing their current and potential product needs to provide tailored recommendations.
  3. Enhance customer awareness of Comcast's offerings and pricing structures, highlighting competitive advantages over other service providers.
  4. Analyze competitor proposals and articulate responses that emphasize the benefits of choosing Comcast.
  5. Demonstrate foundational knowledge of sales methodologies and territory management, showcasing confidence in sales capabilities.
  6. Formulate and implement basic sales strategies with minimal guidance.
  7. Exhibit effective time management and organizational skills.
  8. Achieve and surpass sales targets as defined by the local market.
  9. Independently organize and manage daily sales activities.
  10. Generate leads through established and approved methods.
  11. Employ effective closing techniques to ensure successful product installations.
  12. Maintain a proven track record in residential sales environments, particularly in business-to-consumer contexts.
  13. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of video, high-speed internet, voice services, and XFINITY Home.
  14. Possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  15. Establish technical proficiency, including knowledge of computer systems, billing platforms, and databases.
  16. Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to walk considerable distances in various weather conditions.
  17. Where applicable, obtain and maintain necessary credentials and licenses for selling and/or designing alarm systems as mandated by law.
  18. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  19. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and variable schedules as required.
  20. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Relevant Work Experience:

0-2 Years preferred.

Compensation:

Base Pay: $26,625.00

Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission): $69,525.00
