Role Overview: As a Team Member Trainer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our growing supply chain network by delivering an outstanding onboarding experience for new team members. You will cultivate a culture of learning, development, and teamwork within the Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Training Operations Manager (TOM) to develop a thorough understanding of training content and strategies.
  • Coordinate training plans for new hires with TOM and Training Specialists.
  • Facilitate training sessions for Warehouse Workers and Associates, covering new hire orientation, core competencies, specialty training, and recertification.
  • Ensure safety remains the top priority during all training activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with team members to foster an inclusive environment.
  • Support the onboarding and retention of new hires and peers.
  • Monitor and assess progress to ensure proficiency in job functions.
  • Engage in hands-on training and demonstration of job functions, while also fulfilling operational needs as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate all power equipment and warehouse technology safely.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying merchandise weighing up to 47 lbs regularly, and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to move about the site frequently for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per shift).
  • Willingness to work in various temperature-controlled environments.
  • Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including conveyor crossovers and mezzanine platforms.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in distribution or training, with a preference for employee training experience.
  • Positive and respectful attitude, both independently and in team settings.
  • Strong comprehension of verbal, written, and visual communication.
  • Proficient in basic math skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities with minimal notice.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedules to provide support across multiple shifts as needed.
  • Effective communication skills to convey messages clearly and ensure understanding.
