Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic front desk agent to join our guest services team at Hotel Indigo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of all hotel guest account information.
  • Mitigate customer complaints as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls and questions about guests' needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests.
  • Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information.
  • Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to handle credit cards and third-party reservations correctly.
  • Must possess the confidence and ability to handle customer complaints and issues with grace.
  • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred.
  • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent.
  • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations.

This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling, including 7A-3P and 3P-11P shifts.
