Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, handling room reservations, and managing the front desk operations. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Services
    • Greet and register guests in a friendly and professional manner
    • Provide accurate information about hotel amenities and services
    • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Manage the front desk area, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling guest requests
    • Process room reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
    • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
    • Provide clear and concise information to guests about hotel policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience
    • No prior experience required, but prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic mathematical skills and ability to use a calculator
