Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Fairfield Inn - Kansas City at the Legends, Kansas City, Kansas. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, register them into the system, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
  • Communication: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including handling cash and credit transactions, issuing keys, and controlling entrance to safety deposit boxes.
  • Problem-Solving: Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic computer skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job.
