As a vital member of our team, you will serve as the initial point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. Your role is essential in representing Concentra within the community, and we value your ability to maintain a friendly and composed demeanor in all situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors, providing information about wait times and directing them as needed.
- Process patient authorizations to facilitate necessary services.
- Utilize the patient management system to check patients in according to established protocols.
- Guide patients through required forms, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Manage incoming calls, directing inquiries appropriately while adhering to company procedures.
- Assist with patient check-out processes, ensuring records are handled according to company guidelines.
- Organize and maintain medical records and correspondence in compliance with defined procedures.
- Oversee inventory of office supplies and ensure availability of printed forms.
- Distribute paperwork to external parties, including necessary documentation.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training as a Medical Front Office Assistant.
- Support the Center Administrator in daily front desk operations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in a customer service role.
- Intermediate proficiency in PCs, word processing, and data entry.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
