Position Overview

We are currently seeking a seasoned Hydrogeologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic and technical support for various client projects while contributing to our business development initiatives in the realms of water resources, environmental assessment, and remediation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in multidisciplinary projects alongside our Environmental, Geotechnical, and Hydrogeology Teams, ensuring client satisfaction and effective problem-solving.
  • Oversee the design, construction, testing, and evaluation of large-capacity water supply wells.
  • Utilize analytical, analytic element, and numerical groundwater models to facilitate contaminated site investigations and water resource management.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of well testing data, model outputs, geophysical data, and hydrogeological information, culminating in detailed reports and visualizations.
  • Provide expert technical support for well drilling, water rights, and hydrogeological investigations, including the development of conceptual site models.
  • Plan and manage projects, actively participating in client and regulatory discussions.
  • Lead business development efforts, including client presentations, proposal development, and participation in professional organizations.
  • Serve as a technical resource within the firm, offering guidance and mentorship to junior staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington State.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in hydrogeology consulting or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with Washington State's geological and hydrogeological landscape, including environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Proficient in industry-standard numerical modeling software and analytical tools.
  • Recognized for creativity, integrity, and technical expertise among clients and peers.
  • Experienced in production well drilling techniques and groundwater monitoring instrumentation.
  • Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in leading project teams and supervising personnel.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
