Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned professional in the field of Hydrogeology, Geology, or Groundwater Management. The ideal candidate will provide both strategic and technical guidance on client projects while actively contributing to business development initiatives across our expanding service areas, including water resources, environmental assessments, and litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in multidisciplinary projects alongside our Environmental, Geotechnical, and Hydrogeology teams, ensuring alignment with client goals and effective problem-solving.
- Possess expertise in the drilling, design, construction, testing, evaluation, and rehabilitation of high-capacity water supply wells.
- Utilize analytical, analytic element, and numerical groundwater models to facilitate contaminated site investigations and water resource management.
- Conduct analysis and interpretation of well testing data, model outputs, geophysical data, and hydrogeological information, culminating in the preparation of comprehensive reports and visual representations.
- Provide technical assistance for well drilling, wellhead protection, water rights, and various hydrogeological investigations and testing.
- Oversee project planning and management while participating in client and regulatory discussions.
- Engage in business development activities, including client presentations, proposal development, and involvement in professional organizations.
- Act as an internal technical resource, offering guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality technical output within Terraphase.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington State.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in hydrogeology consulting or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with the geological and hydrogeological landscape of Washington State, including environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Proficient in industry-standard numerical modeling software and analytical tools.
- Recognized for creativity, integrity, responsiveness, and technical acumen among clients and peers.
- Experienced in typical production well drilling techniques.
- Skilled in the installation and operation of groundwater monitoring equipment.
- Strong analytical skills in modeling and data interpretation.
- Exceptional technical writing and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven experience in leading project teams and supervising personnel.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team and independently.

Compensation
Salary for this position is commensurate with experience, technical expertise, and education, ranging from $105,000 to $155,000.
