Position Overview
Moss Adams LLP is seeking a dedicated Senior Compliance and Internal Audit Consultant to join our dynamic team. We are committed to fostering a culture that values authenticity and collaboration, where you can grow as a leader while making a meaningful impact on our clients and communities.

About the Team
The Business Consulting Services division specializes in delivering comprehensive internal and performance audit solutions to a diverse clientele across the Western United States. Our team excels in implementing effective strategies through policy development, organizational redesign, process enhancement, and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Initiate project planning and establish compliance monitoring frameworks.
- Oversee subrecipient performance and reporting assessments.
- Conduct compliance evaluations, analyze financial submissions, and formulate actionable recommendations.
- Execute internal controls assessments, internal audits, and operational evaluations.
- Engage in consulting activities, including interviews, document reviews, and the preparation of detailed client deliverables such as findings and reports.
- Collaborate with clients to assess current practices, identify improvement opportunities, and develop new or revised policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees such as a Master's in Accounting, MBA, or MPA are advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with governmental or not-for-profit organizations; professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CGMA, or CFE are desirable.
- Experience in grant management and internal controls audits is essential.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and the standards set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) is required.
- Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 20-30%.
