Position Title: Senior Mechanical Project Manager

The Senior Mechanical Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of project execution, ensuring that each initiative meets our standards of success, which includes effective financial management and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee significant segments of large-scale projects or take full responsibility for smaller initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project management personnel.
  • Continuously enhance skills necessary for effective project management.
  • Manage scope alterations and conduct quantity take-offs, pricing, and track project modifications.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Estimating and Scheduling.
  • Proven ability to establish strong partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Scheduling.
  • Background in Mission Critical projects.

Work Environment:

Position may require travel to various job sites and corporate offices.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in understanding project requirements during the pursuit phase.
  • Lead the procurement process for mechanical contracts.
  • Manage the estimation and bidding processes for electrical scopes.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and management of project drawings and specifications.
  • Oversee subcontractor management and cost control processes.
  • Conduct safety audits and participate in safety training.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform essential functions of the role, including occasional lifting, standing, and navigating construction sites.
