Job Overview:

PalletTrader is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. As a key member of our sales process, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, setting the stage for our sales executives to close deals. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively research and identify potential leads through various channels, including social media, industry events, and online research.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media messages to engage with prospects and generate interest in PalletTrader's solutions.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our services.
  • Engage current customers to expand awareness, educate, and identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop account intelligence and identify key decision makers.
  • Schedule meetings and demos for PalletTrader's sales team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align on campaign strategies and provide feedback on lead quality.
  • Maintain a database of contact information and sales activity in our CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Proven understanding of effective sales tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team.
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently.
  • Capability to understand customer pain points and requirements.
  • Strong and professional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Promotes a sense of urgency and acts without being told what to do.
  • Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams.
Additional Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience making and managing high call/contact volumes daily.
  • Strong phone and live/in-person presence.
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and improve.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Inspire trust and work with integrity and ethics.
