About the Role

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in developing and growing our business by identifying and qualifying new leads, building relationships with potential customers, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Contact customer leads through cold calling and other sales outreach strategies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and budget by introducing new products and services to existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Increase sales within existing accounts by introducing new items and services, and by re-establishing relationships with lost accounts.
  • Input sales orders and collaborate with the sales manager to solve customer problems and needs.
  • Attend sales and other meetings to stay informed about company initiatives and customer needs.
  • Participate in all company spiffs and promotions to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Follow our Sales Training Policies to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the foodservice, janitorial, or packaging industries.
  • Outstanding selling, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Excel to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
