Job Summary

As a key member of the Johns Hopkins Medicine team, the Director of Revenue Analytics and Strategy will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of revenue management strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

This role will require a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement regulations, cost accounting, and operations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize revenue growth and profitability
  • Lead a team of analysts and managers to ensure accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to achieve revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, health services cost review commission, and auditors
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare reimbursement regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, healthcare management, or finance
  • 7-10+ years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare reimbursement regulations, cost accounting, and operations, including 3-5 years of management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of HSCRC and Medicare regulations, health care planning, budgeting, pricing, and hospital organization
  • Professional level of knowledge in finance or accounting, including regulatory compliance issues and comprehensive understanding of all budget and price change planning procedures
  • High degree of knowledge of regulatory and cost accounting principles, revenue budgeting, and annual operating plan development
  • Experience in developing and presenting financial information to executive-level audiences and coordination of staff in providing support services to clients in decentralized or consulting environments
