Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Admissions Operations and Analytics to join our team at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. This is a hybrid role that requires a unique blend of technical, analytical, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction for admissions operations and analytics, ensuring efficient and effective processes that meet enrollment goals.
  • Manage a team of professionals responsible for processing admission applications, ensuring document and data integrity, and providing applicant solutions.
  • Develop and implement business process workflow for efficient application processing and decision release for multiple admission cycles annually.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Marketing and Communications on Slate queries and setup to ensure appropriate delivery of email, SMS, direct mail, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Office of Software and Reporting Services on reporting, queries, and internal portals needed to execute against lead management strategy.
  • Ensure Admissions is using the most efficient and reliable business processes, configurations, system features, and implementations.
  • Monitor APIs between Slate and multiple third-party systems to ensure data movement and integrity.
  • Take a lead role in identifying priorities, annual updates, and improvements to all technological systems and procedures.
  • Serve as primary liaison with University Information Systems (UIS) for annual Slate Cycle Prep process.
  • Document processes and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five years progressively responsible related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of admissions office operational functions and customer relationship management (CRM) software very strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Slate strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with higher education environment, particularly graduate admissions or graduate management admissions desirable.
