Dental Field Sales Representative

Job Overview:
The Dental Field Sales Consultant is responsible for managing sales activities within a designated territory for Henry Schein. This position requires regular consultative contact with customers to grow sales, merchandise, equipment, and service sales, with a focus on obtaining new customers and sharing Henry Schein's value messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet quarterly and annual sales Gross Profit (GP) goals by participating in key sales initiatives and programs.
- Direct sales activities within the territory through team selling and coordination.
- Develop, manage, and increase Merchandise, Equipment, and Service Sales in a specific territory.
- Seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Plan and implement strategies using company programs, tools, and initiatives to increase market share.
- Attend sales meetings, dental conventions, and industry events to promote event selling and customer relationships.
Specific Skills & Knowledge:
- Professional selling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer software skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Attention to detail.
- Project management skills.
Minimum Work Experience: At least 2 years of prior sales experience preferred.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline.

Travel / Physical Demands: This position requires extensive travel within a specific geographic territory assignment. No special physical demands required.
Compensation: The salary to be offered for this position is $60,000. At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for a bonus/incentive not reflected in the posted range, subject to the achievement of the plan.
