Job Responsibilities

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Executing assembly, alignment, and final configuration of various components.
  • Utilizing prescribed methods for assembly tasks with a range of hand tools, fixtures, and testing equipment.
  • Gathering test data and employing databases along with office software to document the manufacturing workflow.
  • Engaging in problem-solving for production challenges and contributing to process decision-making.
  • Assisting in the selection and setup of specialized machinery.
  • Conducting troubleshooting to identify and rectify issues.
  • Performing equipment setup, calibration, and routine maintenance.
  • Adhering to audit and safety protocols.
  • Participating in ongoing process enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year in manufacturing or mechanical assembly is essential.
  • Experience in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, complex manufacturing processes is required.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Prior assembly experience in a controlled environment is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) is necessary.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to work efficiently within a team of 8-10 members.
  • Capable of analyzing and addressing challenges both independently and collaboratively.
  • Able to support projects, provide training, and work effectively as part of cohesive teams.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong organizational capabilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in collaborating with colleagues from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
  • Ability to work while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
