JOB TITLE: Operations Specialist I

SUMMARY:

Operations Specialists are tasked with the examination, processing, sanitization, and evaluation of components and assemblies sourced from advanced manufacturing clients. Specialists must undergo training, comprehend, and adhere to documented protocols while demonstrating proficiency in inspecting, disassembling, cleaning/refurbishing, reassembling, testing, and packaging client components and equipment within a meticulously controlled cleanroom environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strictly comply with all site safety, quality, and organizational HR conduct policies and procedures.
  • Interpret and execute written work instructions and protocols, ensuring that each phase is completed and documented upon conclusion.
  • Utilize all necessary safety gear including hearing protection, safety goggles or face shields, respirators, and chemical process personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Manage potentially hazardous materials in accordance with relevant manufacturing and safety guidelines.
  • Complete designated tasks employing a variety of cleaning methods, including the use of hand and power tools, mechanical cleaning, and chemical cleaning apparatus.
  • Aid in the upkeep of processing equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Execute and finalize assigned tasks in a cleanroom setting while adhering to required cleanroom attire and PPE as well as quality standards.
  • Assist in inventory management to guarantee appropriate stock levels are sustained.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the workspace, tools, and equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in reading English and following technical documentation and instructions.
  • Capable of passing mandatory drug screening and background verification.
  • Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
  • This position is safety-sensitive; maintaining the requisite standards is essential.
  • Availability to work a compressed work schedule:
    • FE shift - 6:00 am to 6:30 pm (Sunday to Wednesday) plus overtime.
    • BE shift - 6:00 am to 6:30 pm (Wednesday to Saturday) plus overtime.
