Key Responsibilities- Execute assembly tasks, ensuring precise alignments and configurations of components.
- Utilize various hand tools, fixtures, and testing equipment to perform assembly work according to established methods.
- Gather and document test data using databases and office software to track the manufacturing process.
- Contribute to problem-solving during production challenges and assist in process decision-making.
- Support the selection and setup of specialized equipment.
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Manage equipment setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and audit guidelines.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly is required.
- Experience in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes is essential.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Prior assembly experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) is necessary.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team of 8-10 members.
- Strong analytical skills to independently and collaboratively address challenges.
- Capability to support projects, conduct training, and function efficiently as part of cohesive teams.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a successful track record of collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to work in appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
