We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team in San Antonio. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our collections products and services to existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and sell all collections products and services to existing and new clients to achieve profitable sales.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on clients and prospective clients to ensure they are fully satisfied with our services and aware of services, programs, promotions, etc. that may be of benefit to them.
- Develop, disseminate, and execute weekly sales plans and recaps using our assigned hardware and Customer Relationship Management software to ensure that sales and marketing objectives are met in a timely and profitable manner.
- Enter new customer data and maintain detailed records of clients and prospective clients contacted, person contacted, results achieved, and significant problems/issues encountered.
- Maintain and submit detailed records of expenses incurred for business promotion, including mileage, lunch receipts, and association fees for reimbursement.
- Participate in civic and community affairs and attend applicable association meetings to promote our services to prospective clients.
- Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans outlining objectives, strategies, and lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college.
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with Third Party - Collections and outside sales is required.
- Experience with personal computers and software is encouraged.
- The incumbent should possess a great deal of assertiveness, self-initiative, and creativity.
This position requires extensive contact with clients and prospective clients. Positive relationships with all company personnel and outside vendors should be developed and maintained. The incumbent will spend the workday either driving to customer locations or in a climate-controlled office, and will be exposed to inclement weather and walking within an office environment.
