Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve a minimum of 95% client account retention through proactive engagement, including outreach to clients who have transitioned their business.
  • Deliver technical knowledge in insurance products and coverage, staying updated on industry developments to effectively serve both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure timely management of renewal deadlines to prevent coverage lapses.
  • Provide recommendations for insurance programs tailored to client needs.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from underwriters.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and summaries of insurance as required.
  • Maintain accuracy in agency management and documentation systems.
  • Guide clients in submitting initial claims reports and ensure swift responses from carriers.
  • Identify potential loss exposures and suggest suitable coverage options.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance, with a thorough understanding of relevant coverages, underwriting, and rating principles.
  • High School diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Possession of a state Property & Casualty insurance license is mandatory.
  • Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, or CPRIA are preferred, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Sagitta/WorkSmart is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage workflow efficiently.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • Continuous engagement with industry trends, new products, legislation, and technology to enhance knowledge and performance.
