Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Sanel NAPA Auto Parts. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our store operations, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide daily leadership and guidance to our store team, fostering a culture of employee engagement and motivation.
  • Customer Service and Sales: Create a superior customer experience, driving sales growth and increasing profitability through effective store management.
  • Inventory Management and Asset Protection: Manage inventory levels, protect assets, and ensure seamless store operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive NAPA operational and marketing programs, continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance store performance.
  • Employee Development and Training: Train, coach, and engage team members to deliver outstanding customer care and achieve sales goals.
  • Store Maintenance and Appearance: Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school courses or degree completion preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the automotive aftermarket service industry or DIY automotive hobbies, or a willingness to learn.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds. Ability to lift 60lbs in some situations.
