Role Responsibilities:
You will join the System Architecture team, collaborating across functions to deliver state-of-the-art performance, durability, and value-added SSD features.

  • Engage closely with teams such as ASIC, Firmware, Hardware, System Design, Quality, Reliability, and Marketing.
  • Conduct tradeoff analyses, explore innovative solutions, debug, and modify firmware or simulation models to evaluate changes and assess product performance, power consumption, and endurance.
  • Enhance and develop modeling infrastructure utilized in architectural tradeoff analyses.
  • Work alongside a talented team of engineers to tackle complex challenges, innovate, and create products that will reach millions of users.

Qualifications:
We seek candidates who demonstrate:

  • Creative problem-solving abilities and adeptness in tradeoff analyses, with a flexible approach tailored to each engagement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging and inspiring others while building credibility and trust across the organization.
  • Experience working as part of a global team across diverse geographies.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in real-time or embedded systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing firmware for Solid State Drives.
  • Proficiency in scripting automation using Python.
  • A comprehensive understanding of complex embedded systems.
  • Multi-disciplinary experience, including familiarity with Firmware and ASIC design.
  • Previous patent filings and scientific publications are advantageous.
  • Experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash is a strong plus.
