Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, high-endurance SSDs that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Develop and maintain complex system models and simulations to evaluate tradeoffs and optimize SSD performance, power, and reliability.
- Work closely with ASIC, Firmware, Hardware, and System Design teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of SSD features.
- Contribute to the development of modeling infrastructure and tools to support architectural tradeoff analyses.
- Participate in debugging and modifying firmware and simulation models to evaluate changes and assess SSD performance, power, and endurance.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of creative problem-solving and tradeoff analysis in the development of complex systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a global team environment, collaborating with colleagues in multiple geographies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in RT/embedded systems development.
- At least 3 years of experience in building firmware for Solid State Drives.
- Proficiency in scripting automation using Python.
- Ability to develop a wide system view for complex embedded systems.
- Multi-disciplinary experience, including familiarity with Firmware and ASIC design.
- Previous patent filing or scientific publication experience is a plus.
- Experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash is a strong advantage.
