Position Overview

A specialized organization in the field of vacuum measurement and control instrumentation is seeking a full-time Embedded / Electrical Engineer.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of existing technologies and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to assess customer requirements and operational environments.
  • Design and innovate new or modified products, focusing on both hardware and firmware aspects.
  • Serve as a Project Engineer for both new initiatives and ongoing development projects.
  • Generate technical documentation for new products and engineering processes.
  • Develop testing strategies, reports, and design documentation to support production and vendor relations.
  • Work alongside customer service to identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Collaborate with procurement to select and maintain optimal vendor partnerships.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in product and technology development.
  • Proficient in firmware, software, and hardware design, including schematic capture and board layout; familiarity with OrCad design tools is advantageous.
  • Strong command of modern coding practices and development tools, with robust debugging skills and hands-on hardware experience; C/C++ development for embedded systems is crucial, and RTOS knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to devise and implement development tools, systems, and methodologies for an expanding product range.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for technology and innovation, with a preference for experience in vacuum technologies and/or the semiconductor manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in designing and testing to meet regulatory standards (e.g., Safety, EMC).
  • Self-motivated with outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
