Position Overview
  • Join the System Architecture team, collaborating across functions to deliver cutting-edge performance, durability, and value-added SSD features.
  • Engage closely with teams in ASIC, Firmware, Hardware, System Design, Quality, Reliability, and Marketing.
  • Involve yourself in activities such as tradeoff analysis, innovative solution exploration, debugging, and modifying firmware or simulation models to evaluate changes and assess product performance, power consumption, and endurance.
  • Enhance and develop modeling infrastructure used in architectural tradeoff analyses.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, tackle intricate challenges, innovate, and create products that will reach millions of users.
Qualifications
  • Exhibit strong creative problem-solving abilities and perform tradeoff analyses, adjusting your approach as necessary for each project.
  • Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging, inspiring, and building trust across the organization.
  • Work effectively as part of a global team across various locations.
  • Hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software/Computer/Electrical Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in real-time/embedded systems.
  • Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in developing firmware for Solid State Drives.
  • Experience in scripting automation using Python is essential.
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive system perspective for complex embedded systems.
  • Multi-disciplinary experience, including familiarity with Firmware and ASIC design, is preferred.
  • Previous patent filings and scientific publications are advantageous.
  • Experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash is a strong plus.
