Qualifications:

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is mandatory; Black Belt certification is an advantage.

Professional Experience:


• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operational management is required.


• Experience in the medical manufacturing sector is preferred.


• A minimum of 5 years managing operations across multiple shifts is necessary; experience in a 24/7 operational environment is advantageous.

Physical Demands:


• Ability to remain stationary for 50% or more of the time.


• Capability to operate a computer for 50% or more of the time.

Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee daily operational functions of the organization. Act as the authority on process planning and prioritization for operations. Develop and execute strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, maintaining quality, and fostering continuous improvement.


• Provide comprehensive leadership, direction, and motivation to all members of the operations team. Address routine supervisory matters including training, coaching, and performance evaluation. Support the growth of future leaders within the department.


• Convey the corporate vision, mission, and values into operational practices while promoting a culture of respect and civility throughout the organization.


• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to assess and monitor overall organizational performance, guide executive decision-making, and suggest actions to stakeholders.


• Assess operational performance against established KPIs and industry standards. Identify areas for enhanced accountability and develop appropriate reporting metrics that align with competencies, goals, objectives, and trend analysis for the operations team.


• Stay informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in operations and the industry; apply this knowledge to communicate necessary changes in policies, practices, and resources.


• Plan, manage, and oversee budgets for employee and equipment resources based on organizational growth and future requirements, while ensuring the financial health and sustainability of MicroLumen®.


• Represent MicroLumen® in a professional manner at various internal and external events, including charity functions, trade shows, and customer engagements.


• Perform additional duties as required.
