About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in manufacturing operations. As an Operations Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support manufacturing to successfully meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Work a variety of different action items and issues.
  • Participate in and/or facilitate OETs.
  • Identify root cause and corrective actions using data mining and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Initiate and implement new initiatives.
  • Promote the sharing of ideas and teamwork between shifts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a related engineering or business discipline with a strong interest in operations and manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and involvement.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • This position may require special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
