Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our Front Desk team. As a Patient Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing patient flow, and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate patients about their treatment plans and associated fees
  • Help patients understand their dental insurance benefits
  • Accurately calculate insurance payments and patient financial responsibilities
  • Work with outside patient care financing companies to provide financial options
  • Collaborate with our financial team to address and collect patient balances
  • Respond to live chats and website leads
  • Answer incoming calls and schedule future appointments
  • Participate in morning and afternoon huddles to share information and goals
  • Mentor new team members and follow up with patients to ensure their needs are met
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a dental front desk position
  • Flexibility in regards to scheduling, including early morning, late evenings, and some holidays
  • Excellent attention to detail and high follow through
  • Ability to calculate percentages accurately and quickly
  • Positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Collaborative and comfortable in communications
  • Outstanding teamwork skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people
