Job Overview

Amtec Enterprise is in search of dedicated Human Resources Specialists with a minimum of 2 years experience in the field of human resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership training. Proficiency in PeopleSoft is essential, and HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are highly regarded.

Position: HR Generalist
Compensation: $31.00 per hour
Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Contract Duration: 6-month contract with potential for conversion to full-time employment, though not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the main point of contact for employee relations matters, offering guidance and support to both employees and management.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee grievances, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of company policies.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract, retain, and nurture top talent within the organization.
  • Assist in performance evaluations and provide coaching to employees to facilitate their professional development.

Leadership Training:

  • Assess leadership development needs and create programs to enhance leadership capabilities across the organization.
  • Offer support and advice to managers on best practices in leadership and employee management.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to foster leadership growth and continuous improvement.

HR Administration:

  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and current employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication of benefits to employees.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources, particularly in employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership training.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and must have experience with PeopleSoft.
