Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HR Assistant Specialist to contribute to our operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership enhancement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in human resources, particularly within a corporate environment, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and leadership capabilities.


Key Duties:

Employee Relations Management:

  • Act as the main resource for employee relations matters, offering support and advice to both staff and management.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and disputes, ensuring equitable enforcement of company policies.
  • Promote a constructive workplace atmosphere through effective communication and resolution techniques.

Talent Acquisition and Development:

  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding.
  • Design and implement strategies for talent acquisition and retention to nurture top talent within the organization.
  • Assist in performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster employee development.

Leadership Enhancement:

  • Assess leadership training needs and create programs to bolster leadership competencies throughout the organization.
  • Offer guidance to managers on effective leadership practices and employee management strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops aimed at promoting leadership growth and continuous improvement.

HR Administration:

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain precise and current employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee benefits management, including enrollment processes and communication of benefits to employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources, emphasizing employee relations, talent management, and leadership development.
  • Experience in a corporate environment is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and must have PeopleSoft experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
