Position: Support Specialist
Compensation: $14.50 per hour
Work Schedule: Flexible hours available, including PRN, part-time, and full-time options. Weekend shifts may be required. Shifts typically consist of 12 and 16-hour rotations. Candidates should be available for 1-2 days of 12-hour shifts (8 AM - 8 PM / 8 PM - 8 AM) and 1-2 days of 16-hour shifts (4 PM - 8 AM).
Note: Traditional Monday to Friday 8 AM - 5 PM schedules are not available. Work hours are determined by client needs.
Requirements: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license (not a permit or intermediate) for a minimum of 12 months. A reliable vehicle is necessary for transporting clients to appointments or outings.
All employees, regardless of full-time or part-time status, must attend a paid orientation program for two weeks, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As a Support Specialist, you will aid individuals with personal care and support those facing behavioral challenges and complex needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: meal preparation, medication administration, and maintaining a clean living environment. You will provide personal care assistance, including help with eating, dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting. Additionally, you will support clients in all aspects of daily living, including feeding, changing, and transferring using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment. It is important to note that you may be assigned to clients requiring total care.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required for those under 21.
- Experience: Preferred six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
