Contract Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled HR Support Specialist to contribute to our dynamic team at NESCO Inc. This role is essential in fostering a productive workplace and enhancing employee engagement.

Position Summary:

The HR Support Specialist will be instrumental in managing various human resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and leadership training. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in human resources, particularly within a corporate setting, and demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the main resource for employee relations matters, offering support and advice to both staff and management.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and disputes, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Promote a harmonious work atmosphere through effective dialogue and resolution techniques.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Formulate and execute strategies for talent acquisition to attract and retain high-caliber employees.
  • Assist in performance management processes, providing constructive feedback to facilitate employee development.

Leadership Training:

  • Assess leadership training needs and create programs to enhance managerial skills across the organization.
  • Offer support and insights to supervisors regarding effective leadership practices and employee management.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops aimed at fostering leadership growth and continuous improvement.

HR Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment and claims management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources, emphasizing employee relations and talent management.
  • Experience in a corporate environment is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and must have experience with PeopleSoft.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
