SHIFT SUPERVISOR:

Key responsibilities include managing deliveries, entering inventory data, restocking products, and ensuring adherence to FIFO inventory practices. The Shift Supervisor is expected to mentor and inspire the team, fostering a positive and proactive work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to established protocols for sales and customer service to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and strains available in-store, while also sharing insights with team members.
  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring a diverse product assortment and communicating inventory needs to the Store Manager.
  • Assist Patient Care Specialists in guiding patients towards suitable product choices based on their individual needs.
  • Effectively manage and delegate tasks during shifts, including:
    • Accurate cash handling and discount applications.
    • Verification of necessary documentation and identification for patients.
    • Implementation of security measures and compliance with safety regulations.
    • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
    • Encouraging open communication with management and team members.
    • Reporting any team member or patient-related issues.
    • Providing end-of-day updates via email.
    • Executing opening and closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure smooth and compliant retail operations.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new Patient Care Specialists alongside the Store Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
  • Experience or educational background in biology, medicine, horticulture, agriculture, business, management, or hospitality.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service roles.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and mathematical skills.
  • Comfortable with cash handling and basic arithmetic operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regularly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequent periods of sitting and standing.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
