SHIFT SUPERVISOR:

Key responsibilities include managing deliveries, entering inventory data, restocking products, and ensuring adherence to FIFO inventory practices. The Shift Supervisor will inspire and motivate the team by maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

Our team is dedicated to growing, processing, and manufacturing a diverse range of cannabis brands, including The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, Nira + Medicinals, and Sèche, catering to various consumer and patient needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to established policies for sales and customer service to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and strains available in-store, and share that knowledge with team members.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring a diverse product assortment and communicating inventory needs with the Store Manager.
  • Assist Patient Care Specialists in guiding patients to make informed product choices based on their individual needs.
  • Complete and delegate tasks assigned during shifts, including:
    • Accurate cash handling and discount application.
    • Verification of necessary paperwork and identification for patients.
    • Ensuring compliance with security measures and safety protocols.
    • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
    • Facilitating open communication with management and colleagues.
    • Reporting any team member issues or patient concerns.
    • Providing end-of-day updates via email.
    • Executing opening and closing duties.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth and compliant retail operations.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new Patient Care Specialists alongside the Store Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience or educational background in biology, medicine, horticulture, agriculture, business, management, or hospitality is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in dispensary, call center, retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service roles.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals.
  • Excellent critical thinking, attention to detail, and mathematical skills.
  • Comfortable with cash handling and performing basic arithmetic operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Frequent desk-based computer tasks.
  • Regularly required to sit and stand.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
