Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join our team at John W. Danforth Company. As a Service Administrator, you will be responsible for timely and accurate billing and cash receipt postings, as well as effectively communicating with service operations in multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage service billings, including quotes, contracts, project invoices, and credit memos, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generate and compile billing documentation, invoices, receipts, and customer statements.
  • Input and maintain pricing and labor rate billing groups.
  • Process credit card transactions and filtration of Amazon orders.
  • Assist the collections team with service collections by following up on vendor invoices.
  • Generate purchase orders and convert open-service purchase orders.
  • Perform routine database maintenance for warehouse inventory.
  • Establish and update customers, locations, labor rate groups, and pricing for all service clients.
  • Perform administrative support for service contract customers.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in accounting or business preferred.
  • 2-3 years of billing experience as a billing clerk with strong math abilities and prior experience in service-related industry is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Excellent computer literacy with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and knowledge of GP is an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results in a driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Must have the integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to represent the company in the most professional, positive manner.
