Position Overview

Estolano Advisors (EA) is a distinguished urban planning and public policy consultancy dedicated to fostering equitable solutions that cultivate vibrant and healthy communities. We are currently seeking a dynamic and collaborative Communications Coordinator to enhance our outreach efforts as a mission-driven organization.

Under the guidance of the Director of Strategic Partnerships, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, crafting responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and effectively communicating EA's capabilities to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

The Communications Coordinator will engage in a variety of interdisciplinary tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the creation of innovative and persuasive proposals in response to RFPs and similar opportunities, which involves preparing qualifications content and compiling necessary materials.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Strategic Partnerships to establish a cohesive suite of business development resources, including marketing materials and digital tools.
  • Supporting the development and submission of conference and panel proposals.
  • Preparing presentation materials and slide decks for proposal interviews.
  • Managing and updating the organization’s social media platforms and website.
  • Crafting email communications and announcements for clients and collaborators.
  • Maintaining contact lists and tracking engagement metrics to enhance outreach efforts.
  • Assisting in organizing both in-person and virtual events to showcase the firm’s work and partnerships.
  • Staying informed on current trends in urban planning, equitable economic development, and related policy areas.
  • Performing administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to social and racial justice, with relevant experience in marketing, business development, urban planning, or related fields. A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience are required.
